Why Miracle Centre SACCO was started, and the board of members entrusted to run it well.

Built by the community, for the community

Miracle Centre SACCO was founded in 2009 by members and leaders of the Miracle Centre church community who saw a simple but pressing need: a trustworthy, member-owned place for ordinary people to save, borrow and grow together — without the high fees, strict collateral demands or predatory interest rates found elsewhere.

What began as a small circle of committed savers has since grown into a fully regulated cooperative serving members across Kampala, built on the belief that financial discipline, shared ownership and community support can transform lives — one saving, one loan, one dividend at a time.
